A strong first half helped set up an impressive 17-0 scoreline for the Under 15s.The team played very well as a unit and created many chances that were well converted. Many thanks must go to John Belgre who played a superb game after a stepping up a level.Congratulations to our goal scorers of whom there are too many to mention.
Seniors - 0-0 Sponsored by SodensHotspurs 95 per cent possession, Albury City 5 per cent.Several opportunities should have had the Spurs ahead three or four goals but it all came down to a penalty in the last 30 seconds. It went wide and saw the game end with one point instead of three. "Hotspurs coach Peter Travassaros said he was disappointed to draw a match which could easily have been won.’’ Border Mail
Reserves - won 2-1Another good game by the Reserves team (all 22 of them). If numbers keep up like this we will have to implement a roster system. Generally a good effort by all but the team still needs to hold shape under all conditions. Everyone must make an effort to get to training.
