Welcome to the 2007 Season,

 

                It is great to see new and returning players this season.  We will be producing a  newsletter every week that we have games and it will hopefully provide you with all necessary information.  Also this year we will be continuing with our report competition, for those who forget, you win a drink from the canteen to be collected on  home games for the best report / poem / song etc.  using the word of the week.

 

                This Sunday 18h March we will be having  practice games between some of the teams  This will be an opportunity to finalise registrations, issue shirts, buy socks and finalise managers and coaches in preparation for our first game the following Sunday.  Game times are

 

                2.00  - 2.45 pm                       U10  V   U11

 

                2.45  - 3,30 pm                       U12  V   U13

 

                3.30 – 4.15 pm                       U14  V   U16

 

                4.15 – 5.00 pm      

 

                5.00 – 6.00 pm                       3rd ‘s  V  Reserves

 

The draw for the first two rounds is

                                Hotspurs V Twin City @ Home

                Easter

                                NO GAME

 

                All game reports need to be sent to each week to

 

                                                wrights@dragnet.com.au

 

before 10 pm on the Monday after the game so they can be printed and put into each teams drawer in the ball room on Tuesday,  ( Yes we will know if they are not handed out !!! ).  It does not have to be the manager or coach who writes and sends the report so you can share the responsibility between the parents and/or players.  If you miss the deadline I’ll carry the article into the following week but please try to meet the deadline.
