GOOD FORM CONTINUES

Out teams continued their good form by winning the majority of the games against Benalla on Sunday. Our NINE teams are also playing very well.

NINE GOLD won 6-1 against Twin City. After a slow start the team created numerous chances which they are starting to convert. Goals from Ryan Weston 3, Cam Beckingdale and Kyle Dalitz. Cam, Pol Vassart, Isaac Donkers played very well with Ryan Smith at sweeper being our star player on the day.

NINE BLACK won 8-0 against Lavington. Another great effort from this team. Everybody played their positions and players worked hard to support each other. Many of the first year players are standing up and showing that they listen well at training and try to follow team rules. Ezra McNair, Dominic Brew, and Jack Day scored two goals each with one goal to Chrstian Hahnermann and Dominic Baker.

THIRTEENS had a big win against a gallant but undermanned Benalla. Jake Gardner showed the way with a nice goal from the halfway line. It was 7-0 at halftime with the team scoring 10 goals in the second half. Eric Simon scored 4, Aleki 4, Eggy 3, Jake 2, Blake 2, Gena and Rob Gentle scoring one each.

Our ELEVENS played against a competitive Benalla side finally winning 5-2.

17 GIRLS also had a good 5-2 win with Kaycee and Lucy starring.

The  THIRDS team is still performing well scoring a 3-0 win against Benalla

The LADIES drew 0-0 as did the RESERVES – both teams dominated their games but could put the ball in the onion bag.

SENIOR MEN won 9-2 with a good second half performance. After a shaky start the boys scored some great second half goals. Matt Connole had a big day playing full games in goals for the thirds and reserves and then replacing a sick Luke Drummond in seniors. Thanks Matt!
