Seniors Thumped TCW 5-0
Cogratulations to Robert Tuksar who played his 200th first grade game for the club.Robert also scored his first goal for the season. We welcome back Ryan Giles from the warriors who played a dominating game in the midfield. Also thanks to Peter Gunning for filling in for Nat in goals. Well played everyone, a good team effort. But don,t get carried away with the score, we need to beat Cobram this weekend or they will jump ahead of us in the ladder. The goals were scored by, Bones 2, Brett, Robert and Wes.
Goal scores for the season to date, Cremer 3, Holt 3, Davies 3, McRitchie 1, Pendlebury 1, Tuksar 1.

Reserves Lost 2-6
The salubrious conditions at Aloyisous Park were not enough to inspire the team that displayed one of the worst performances for many seasons. The only bright moments were the two goals by Peter Robbie who again won the mug. Everyone can look forward to next week to try to regain the form shown in previous games.

Ladies won 2-1
An inspired performance by a team lacking in players. After playing with only eight players on Wednesday night in a loss to St Pats, the team held on to beat Twin City with only nine players.
Ladies v St Pats ( wed night ) Lost 2-1
A very tough game with only 8 players. All players fought hard and kept their heads up until the final whistle. Well done Ladies

U18 Girls Lost 4-1.
We played very well for our first game of the season. Thankyou to the girls who filled in for us. Once we play a few more games and get used to playing together, we will be the team to beat!
U15 Girls.
We had to forfeit due to lack of players. Thanks to the young girls who offered to play up a couple of grades. Due to the shortage of players it has been decided to withdraw from the competition. Those few how have singed with the club will be able to play in the under 18 girls competition.

Thirds v SS and A lost 1-2
An extremely slow start coupled with some basic mistakes saw us two behind after 10 minutes. We played some excellent soccer but our finishing let us down. We toiled away valiantly in the second half but came up short. Nice goal to Ben Holt.

Thirds v St Pats lost 1-2
A great start saw us take an early lead and despite playing well a couple of defensive lapses proved very costly. The important thing is that we playing some good soccer but not finding the net. Well done to Cameron Greene on scoring his first goal for the club. Welcome to Rob Hamilton.

Thirds v Twin City won 5-1
Congrats to the boys on our first win. We again produced some scintillating soccer. Goal scorers Mark Johnny Belgre (2), Hamo and Cam. Well done boys.

Under 15s won 4-3
A great win with goals to Josh, Pay and Brendon Jones. The team played well for its first win of the season but needs to remember to play out the full game.

Under 14s lost 0-8
Good play but need more training. Thank you to subs Luke, Andrew and goalie Seato. Thank you to Kevin for helping out.

Under 11s lost 0-7
Thanks to Tim, Kia and Johnny for being subs. Second half was better but all the team played okay. Please turn up for training.

Under 10s lost 2-1
Our first loss to Twin City after a close match. Multiple saves from our talented goalkeeper Kai Ward saved us from a much bigger loss. Michael Hawkesworth and Daniel Ryan showed us some good tackling, stealing the ball quite a few times. Shaun Dalitz scored our goal with a solid cross from the wing.

Under 9s Gold v Melrose Park drew 1-1

A great start to the 2001 competition against some formidable opposition in Melrose. Daniel and Jake both kept goal in style with Daniel pulling off some great saves in the first half to keep Spurs in the game.
Rebecca, Ben and newcomer Brent were all solid in defence, holding out until 10 seconds from the final whistle before conceding a deserved equaliser by Melrose. Patrick, Max and under 10's import Jason Dalitz controlled the midfield, providing several great opportunities for our strikeforce of Chris and James. James slotting home a great team goal just prior to half-time after some fantastic passing. Keep up the great teamwork guys and gal!
Star player award - Rebecca Briggs for great defence.

Under 9s Black
Played a practice match against Panthers. Phillip and Thomas had great games with Gena and Robert also playing well.
