HOTSPURS vs WODONGA PANTHERS

Seniors won 7-0

The big fella, No. 10, mushroom boy and several others names by which he is known, scored his highest goal haul at senior level - five in all. He was here, there and everywhere within five metres of the penalty spot but nowhere else. Javi the great Houdini - who got off his suspension - scored his first goal for Spurs and Mills the magnificent scored the other. Coach Trav played his best game all year. From all the players Trav - well done. It brings Tuksar's goal tally for the season to 10 - well done champ!

Reserves won 4-0

A good win today. The boys fought hard to come out victors. A great day goal by Maddo off a corner with goals also to Jarrod and penalties to Ivan and Fish (possibly his first goal since Under 13s). Good game by all with special mention to Pete, Wayno, Harro and Maddo.

Ladies won 11-0

Ladies V's Panthers. The Ladies had another good win on the weekend defeating Panthers 11--0. There's not much more we can say about that is there! Training will now be on a Tuesday as well as Thursdays at 6.30pm.

Thirds lost 2-4

A game of two halves. After leading 1-0 we allowed four quick goals in a short time through disorganised defence. The second half with our defence more structured and our passes more direct saw us score another goals and keep them scoreless. Top efforts from Trevor, Nick, Peter and Nat. Welcome back to Thomas.

Under 16 girls v Twin City lost 3-4

A hard game for the girls with only 8 players against 11 girls in the TCW team. They went down 4--3 , but played hard until the end. Well done girls.

Under 13s won 12-0

Great game from all players. We are starting to pass to us not them which makes a great difference.

Thanks to subs Luke, Matty and Kristy and goal keeper John. Good try for goals by Peter, Josh, Brad and Amy, Georgia, Damien and Luke. Great goals scored by Georgia 5, Pat 1, Damien 1, Bradley 3 and Amy 2.

Under 12s won 7-0

Under 11s lost 1-5

A much-improved performance that was not reflected in the scoreline. Some great passages of play which showed the crowd the mouth-watering potential of this side. Persistence is the key. Great games from Glenn, Andrews, Chris and Alex.

Under 10s won 4-3

Well, we won our first game. A great effort by everybody. Well played and keep it up. From goals to Caleb, who is proving deadly in front of goals, to all the others who played well, it's been hard for the team as Ernie and Will have been making lots of changes to work out how to make the most of the talent on tap. This is a team with heaps of potential. If we work on our basics, marking up and staying in position, this should be the first of many wins.

Thank you to Jason and Shaun for filling in. Great try Aras and to Jarrod who scored. Fantastic team work boys and girl. Great goalkeeping Jarrod and Tom.

Well done.
