Seniors v St Pats won 1-0
Well played Robert Vuka and nice finish to give us the only goal of the game. Nat put in another good performance in goals. Three points is what matters every game from now on.
Reserves v 1 St Pats won 3-0
A good victory against a solid side. The team played well producing numerous attacking raids. Spokesy was a "star" (his words), but in fairness to him, his first goal was a screamer and his second just as good. Jarrod sealed it with a tap in. Special mention and thanks to Wildy for his goalkeeping. Good job fellas let's keep the momentum going.
Ladies v St Pats won 6-0
Thirds v St Pats lost 0-3
A tough game against the outright competition leaders but one which showed our team is a competitive one. A match where the breaks didn’t go our way and one where we missed opportunities. A top performance from Dave, Peter and Michael who never stopped trying. Good support from Nick Chapman, Thomas, Trev, Elliot, Josh and Nat. Some excellent vocal support from mothers on the sideline.
Under 14s v St Pats lost 0-4
We did not play as well as we can. Rhys played a great game in goals. Brendan tried really hard and defended well.
Under 13s had a bye
Under 12s v St Pats won 8-0
A pretty impressive display with the team playing some good soccer, often stringing together six passes at a time. The majority of our goals were the result of excellent team play. We’ll done to Kurt on his five goals , Briggsy on his two and there was an own goal.
Under 12s v Wangaratta won 1-0 (last Sunday)
Our commitment, effort and desire were faultless. We scrambled well and Mark and Seato were fantastic in goals, both making several great saves. Some quick thinking off an indirect free kick by Luke and Daniel F. resulted in our goal. Everyone contributed in our best performance for a while.
Under 11s v St Pats won 4-1
It was good to see the guys turn up to play soccer. Started the half well and were rewarded with an early goal. We continued to dominate the half and score again just before half time. The second half continued in the same vein and as a result of the excellent pressure we scored twice more. A fine team effort. Special mention must go to Mat Ried for an excellent game.
Under 10s v St Pats lost 0-5
Good game Girl and Boys. Great play by Zac, Steven and David.
Under 9s v St Pats won 4-0
Great to get the three points again after two draws the previous games. Two good goals to Shaun, one beautiful long goal by Tim and a great running goal to Johnny. Everybody played very well which pleases the coach very much. Best players, Shaun, Daniel and Johnny. Coaches best for playing exactly to game plan, Liam, Jake and Ben.
